Hi all,
Ady Crampton here.
"Listening to and playing music has always been a large part of my life. I remember buying my very first record way back in 1974, I was then aged just 7 years old.

By 1983 I was immersed in the UK scooter scene and began attending the rallies which boasted ex-Wigan Casino DJs on their all-nighter line-up. There was so much music that I hadn't heard before and of course, as there was a record bar in each venue, my record collection increased although sadly never as much as my wants list.

I really get a kick out of sharing my passion for music and have enjoyed playing my 70s soul funk and disco records to the world ever since".

So with that said, I hope you will find the time to join me here on ASR (Allsounds Radio), where I will bring you "The Seventies Soul Show" Saturday Morning at 12am
See you there.

Hi, Chris here,
My initial interest in radio broadcasting is owed to my dad who worked first for the BBC and then for EMI Records in the late '80s, presenting a daily internal radio show. The home radio studio was often more enticing than playing with Meccano and so it was a natural progression to start presenting a weekly show on a community station in Dorset, UK, at just 15 years old. That show ran for eight years and led to several other opportunities on local stations. Always keen to support my local area, I have enjoyed taking part and assisting with carnivals and other events such as the 'Maiden Newton At War' festival where I assisted in the running of a Restricted License Station covering a big public event for 3 days. I am also an active member of an amateur dramatics society, having taken many lead roles and often backstage as the sound engineer.

The technical side of broadcasting is as much a passion as presenting for me and I have a reputation for my split-second timing which I often use when editing shows and interviews for fellow presenters. Pop history has always been a fascination to me and this comes in handy, not only for my radio shows but also when taking part in regular quizzes!

Hope you can join me here on ASR (Allsounds Radio) every Monday at 9pm and Tuesday at 8pm for my shows.

"Just Another Meineck Monday" 1 hour, live on air.
"The Secret 70s" Shh! Don't tell anyone, it's a secret.

Chris Meineck..

Hey there..
Since inheriting my sister’s records when I was knee-high to a grasshopper in the ’70s, broadcasting music and communications was the life for me, and the more buttons, levers, switches, faders, and general gadgets involved the better, with my first “DJ kit” being a Bush Cassette Recorder and a Bontempi Organ.

Starting with a modest collection of MFP and K-Tel compilations and a few Beatles 45s mostly more battered than your average cod, I've never looked back.

The ’80s was my “Golden Age” of music. I showcase my perennial penchant for the ’70s and 80’s music and its modern contemporaries on Solid Gold Sounds, where I was just as happy with forgotten 45’s as their well-known air-play and chart counterparts, so expect an eclectic and original mix of both on the program.

The show has regular features and occasional themed specials, so if you love that wonderful era too (even if you weren’t there..) there’s a warm welcome for all to enjoy the classics and maybe even a few you missed!

Join me on Tuesday night at 10pm. Here on ASR (Allsounds Radio)
..for "Solid Gold Sounds"

Dave Edwards has been associated with the world of Radio Broadcasting for over 40 years, having started as many do, in Hospital Radio. He was one of the driving forces behind the formation of The Loughborough Hospitals Broadcasting Service (LHBS) back in 1975.

In fact, Dave was the Station Manager for several years.

Dave has, over the years, worked for both Commercial and Publicly funded radio stations both here in the UK, as well as worldwide.

He started as a Studio Assistant at BBC Radio Leicester in 1976.

He was used as a Commercial 'Voice Over' talent on Radio Trent in Nottingham and Mercia Sound in Coventry in the eighties.

Having grown up in the Sixties, and having experienced the Seventies, he has a genuine love for the popular music of those two decades.

His special love of the '70s is reflected in his show called 'That Seventies Sound' which he produces and presents each and every week. The show can be heard right here on ASR (Allsounds Radio) every Tuesday at 5pm.

"Looking forward to spending time with you all"

Dave Edwards

When it comes to music, it literally rules my life. I have been DJing since the early ’80s, but it wasn’t until the mid 90’s that I became interested in radio presenting. I love and respect all types of good music, right from as far back as the classic ’50s through to the indie pop ’90s. I grew up listening to the radio as a young lad and started collecting vinyl at the mere age of 5 years old in the early ’70s. I would save my pocket money up to buy records as often as possible, and even now, 50-odd years on, I still collect music and I’m running out of space to store my massive vinyl collection. I was always a massive fan of the original “Pick of the Pop” presented by the late Alan “Fluff” Freeman back in the day, and I always wanted to take a stab at doing my own take on a vintage chart countdown radio show.

Marley in the Morning (Weekdays at 7am)
Playing you feel good classics to get you through your morning with a smile on your face. Join in with the fun and frolics.. "The Workout Track" "80s at 8" "The 5 at 9" "The Midway Extended Play" and the very popular Retro "TV Theme Tune Finish". If that wasn't enough, every day we have "Celebrity Birthday Shouts" and info from "Music History Today". Often an education.

The Classic Chart Rundown (Monday & Wednesday at 5pm)
A twice weekly "Top 20" Chart Rundowns from 1960 to 1999. Think Radio 2's Pick of the Pops, counting down this week's top 20 from back then, with Dave putting his own spin on the show.

I’m Fi Shoop.
I’ve been on the radio off and on for over a decade but no one was ever brave enough to trust me with a playlist before. One of the things I love about this station is that we can choose whatever music we like. There is no set playlist which means I get to showcase new talent or play lesser-known tracks by established musicians.

The way I work is that every track except for the main album, One to Watch spot and my last song are all related to topics. The last song is always my goodbye for the evening and has that word in the title or lyrics. It’s a good way to end the show and that’s also when the kettle goes on.

My producer and I both dance to some of the tracks I play. I love guitar bands and driving rhythms so there are rocking moments in every show. I mean literally rocking moments as the beat takes over and we can’t resist moving to it. I’ve never actually done that on any other show but the Cocktail Hour is that sort of program.

And that’s what the Cocktail Hour is – no, not hard work but great fun. It’s news, views, reviews, drinks, and the best music around.

I hope you enjoy the music as much as I do.

Hi, my name is Gary
I'm 40 years old and living in Stafford. My idol has been and always will be the one and only Elvis Presley.
I originally got into rock n roll thanks to my lovely sister, Sarah. Back in the 80s she was a big Shakin Stevens fan and I would hear her playing his music, and that was it, one day the rhythms just spoke to me.

From the tender age of 7, you would always find me in double denim and white shoes, practicing Shaky's moves myself in my parents living room, and then showing them off at family parties we all attended. My big cousin Dave Marley) would usually be there cheering me on when we were both much younger.

Then, one day when I was around the age of 8 years old, I was given a box of records. It was the Reader's Digest Boxset of Elvis Presley's greatest hits, and that was it, from that moment in time I was totally hooked, and I still am to this day.

Over the years my collection of 50s and 60s Rock n Roll music has grown with me, and so has my knowledge of this wonderful genre and era of music.

Today I am delighted to be producing my own Rock n Roll shows right here.
You can tune in to it on Sunday Mornings at 10am, here on ASR (Allsounds Radio). Come and join me, you might just learn something new about "Ol' Time Rock'n'Roll"

Gary

Hi,
My name is Gary. I've been presenting various radio shows since 2010 in various formats, but since mid-2018 I have produced and presented Back to the 80s.

For me, the 80s is a great decade of music, with some quality tunes from all types of genres, from electric synth at the start of the decade to classic dance tracks at the end of the decade with simply everything else mixed in between.

'The Blast Shows' give you the listener the chance to go back to 80s 90s & 00s, to remember some great songs, and share their first song bought in the decade too.

Hope you enjoy my shows here at ASR (Allsounds Radio) every weekday at 10am.

Gary Hopkins

Hi there
I started on a local FM station and it soon became apparent that other stations were sometimes short of presenters. So rather than just have a faceless automated string of songs, idents, and jingles, I started offering shows to "fill in".

I started my DJ career back in the days when half a dozen singles from Saturday Night Fever were guaranteed to fill the dance floor. Hospital radio beckoned in the early 1990s. I fell in love with beat music in the 60s, and in 1997 I was approached by The Searchers to publish their official website which I still do to this day.

All three of my shows are packed with special features - not for the audience's benefit, but because at my age just staying awake for two hours is tough enough, and every little helps!
See you on ASR (Allsounds Radio) Midnight on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

Gary Jackson

Geoff started his career at the age of 13 and within five years was one of the Mecca Group's top DJs, being used as their opening act for their new venues nationwide. During the '60s when package tours were at the height of their popularity, Geoff could be found compering shows with Animals, Kinks, Spencer Davis, Roy Orbison, Chuck Berry, and for the second-ever Led Zeppelin show.

In 1974 became one of Radio Hallam first voices when the station launched, being the new commercial station for Sheffield. In the '70s, Geoff also worked on Q102 in Florida, USA, and KZUN in Dallas. In the '80s, you'd have heard him on the legendary pirate radio station, Sunshine Radio.

His shows have reached cult status and Geoff has performed over 2660 interviews over the last few years, including members of Queen, Fleetwood Mac, The Rolling Stones, The Wrecking Crew, Eagles, Chicago, Sir Cliff Richard, Genesis, Status Quo, Blondie, The Searchers, Slade, Toto, Rick Astley, Foreigner, and Jethro Tull... and that's just the start of the list! The show continues to draw huge names to be interviewed both live on the telephone and in the studio.

Geoff records five unique shows each week - "Solid Gold '60s", "Supersonic '70s" "Kick Up the '80s" and "Pump Up The '90s & 00s"... all four of which are currently playing here on ASR (Allsounds Radio), Monday through Thursday at 4pm, and "The Soft Rock Show" every Sunday lunchtime.

Geoff Dorsett

Hi there, I'm Geoff,
I have been interested in music for as long as I can remember..

Collecting vinyl over the years to the point that storage became a problem! I ran my own business for 20 years and then moved to live in Lanzarote in 2022. After moving to Lanzarote I volunteered as a presenter on a local community station here in Lanzarote and that is where The Time Of Our Music Life was "born.

Originally from the North East of England I was born and brought up in Stockton on Tees.

The radio is always on wherever I am and I love any chart music from 1960 to (almost) the present day.

The first record I ever bought was Esther & Abi Ofarim / Cinderella Rockefella, but please don't hold that against me!

I will be on-air, here on ASR (Allsounds Radio) each and every Sunday evening from 10pm. I do hope you can join me as we remember "The Time of our Music Life"

Geoff Wood

Hi, I'm Gill
I arrived late to the broadcasting party but have always loved music and couldn't imagine life without it.

Having retired after 32 years as a primary school teacher, I was looking for a new challenge. I started on hospital radio and then became involved with my local community radio station where I presented their Breakfast show for a while.

I also co-produced a magazine show for a local sight loss charity in Lancashire where I live.

My taste in music ranges from folk to rock, Dance to Soul and everything in between but my roots are in 70s rock.

I hope you will join me for my "Retro Hits and Headlines" as I take you back for a snapshot of a month and year with music and memories, here on ASR (Allsounds Radio)

In 1978 a fresh-faced Glyn was a regular at The Wigan Casino all-nighters, Nottingham Palais all-dayers, and many other soul clubs around the country. Northern soul became a passion for him and he became an avid record collector.

Glyn’s career as a DJ started at 7 years of age on his brother’s mobile disco. From 13 he was working in night clubs and in 1994 following a stint on pirate radio he started his own radio station in the UK called ‘Valley Radio’ In 1997 Glyn began the ‘Soultastic Soul Club based at Alfreton Leisure Centre in Derbyshire UK attracting up to 800 soul lovers every month at the regular Northern soul nights.

You can catch "The A-Z of Northern Soul" right here on ASR (Allsounds Radio) on Monday mornings at 1am.

We believe that a good song should be shared, no matter what genre or decade it comes from. Our mission is to bring the classic sounds of the 45s to a new generation of music lovers. We will explore different genres of music from the past and celebrate the artists and songs that made them so special.

We invite you to join us as we take a trip down memory lane and enjoy the music that made us smile, dance, and fall in love. We hope you enjoy the show! "Guilty Pleasure 45s" every Sunday at 6pm on ASR (Allsounds Radio)

Hey, I'm Harley
I fell in love with radio whilst listening to the Pirates. As mid teenagers, a friend and I would regularly visit the offices of radio’s Caroline, London & 390 in London to hang out, ogle the secretaries and meet an occasional DJ.

My mother had returned to her native Australia and not long after our Pirates were closed down I made my second visit and was delighted to find an abundance of pop stations in Sydney and once again began to hang out at the studios of my favourite Aussie stations.

At the age of 21 I was on a working holiday back in Oz when I was invited onto a small AM station. I have jumped behind the mic as often as I could ever since!

I love stations like ours. No station policy meetings, no playlist adherence, no bombarding the audience with endless ads or promos, and not a management memo in sight – just a bunch of people doing their best to entertain. My show "Harley's Hits, Quizzes & Stuff" airs weekdays at 11am. I like being here on ASR (Allsounds Radio)
I hope it shows.

Hugh Williams began his DJ career at the age of 15 playing at parties for friends and since then has played professionally in clubs all over the UK and Europe from London to Vienna, from Oslo to Zurich. In the 90s whilst living in Gran Canaria, he was approached by Radio Maspalomas to present a daily English language show which continued for 3 years until his return to the UK. After a time spent running a recording studio and working in clubs in the UK, he returned to the radio 10 years ago with his "Souled Out Show".

Hugh grew up in an era when soul music was a massive musical influence in the UK and he fell in love with it. He has a massive collection of soul music from Motown and Northern Soul right through to the so-called ’80s groove and on into the ’90s and beyond. His "Souled Out Show" plays modern and current soul and he is keen to champion current and unsigned Soul artists that are looking to get exposure on radio. The show has been running for over 10 years and now it's here on ASR (Allsounds Radio).

Also, "Saturday Club Classics" not to be missed, late every Saturday night/Sunday Morning. The perfect show after a Saturday night out on the town.

Hugh Williams

Hello,
I’m Ian Finch and I present "The Ultimate Chart Show" on Allsounds Radio. The show is a one-hour weekly program, dedicated to the best new music, classic tracks, and the finest UK chart hits from across the decades. Every week a different decade is selected and a new chart is created, featuring the stand-out track for each chart position from across the whole decade.

I have always had a love for music and radio from an early age - I remember taping the charts on a Sunday from about 5 or 6 years old and bought my first record aged 7. Professionally, I actually work in TV rather than radio. I am a freelance TV sports director, working on shows such as Match of the Day and The NFL Show for the BBC and the UEFA Champions League on BT Sport as well as major events like the World Cup and Olympic Games.

Hope you can join me here on ASR (Allsounds Radio) on Saturday Mornings.

Ian Finch

Hi I'm Jacq Inwood
Having lied from an early age so I could sneak out to gigs in the 1970s, I play music from back then, plus the very best new tracks. Think Frank Zappa meets Orla Gartland, Kate Bush hanging out with Fontaines DC, Pink Floyd checking in with Kasabian.

Most weeks my show "That Querky Place", has a theme and I strive to make the song choices apt, witty even but hey, you will have to judge for yourself. Some tunes you will never have heard before, others will be long lost, comforting and familiar, like finding a £20 note in an old pair of jeans.

I am also in a band that constantly rehearses, but very rarely gets gigs and I openly share the challenges of being a below average singer and a guitar player that only knows 22 chords and has to avoid barre chords in it.

I am fascinated by people and features include interviews and a problem page. I would love to hear your comments, ideas and suggestions so please get in touch using the email link above. You can hear the show here on ASR (Allsounds Radio) on Sunday Afternoons.

Jacq "The Hat" Inwood xx

James Ross presents The Greatest Hits Of Music every week, with a focus on the biggest and best songs through the years. Great songs that you remember, and some you have forgotten!

James has been broadcasting one way or another since he was a scruffy teenager. He’s been a DJ, producer, TV presenter, journalist, reporter, operations manager and distribution manager at numerous radio and TV stations in the UK and around the world. Somehow radio and TV is in his blood, and throughout his career he had close links with many aspects of broadcasting.

James started out in BBC Local Radio, working at BBC Radio Solent, BBC London and BBC Radio Bristol, mixed with spells at Radio Top Shop. He was then, for many years, behind the scenes at BBC Radio One, and then as a reporter at BBC Radio Two and LBC News Radio. His reporting specialty was travel shows, and for this he travelled all over the world to record radio programmes about destinations such as Barbados, Egypt, Cyprus, Hungary, Sweden, China, Japan, the U.S, and many others an exotic and fun job which he loved perhaps not surprisingly!

Rather than focus on one particular era, "The Greatest Hits Of Music" plays the biggest and best hits from the sixties right up to today's hits. The show is about the strength of the artists, and the familiarity of their songs. It is the best-produced, and most-uplifting hits from through the years, all mixed together with occasional songs from charts around the world, music and showbiz news, and a bit of light fun and banter.

You can hear the show here on ASR (Allsounds Radio) every Thursday at 6pm

Keith and Ruth Bradshaw are a husband and wife team with a love of popular music stretching back to the 1950s and the birth of rock n roll. For them, presenting a weekly trip back into the music of the golden decade that shaped the face of popular music – forever – is a labour of love!

Keith grew up in Morecambe on the North West Riviera. In the 1960s, it was a bustling seaside resort frequented by the bands of the day – Beatles, Stones, Shadows, Kinks, Hollies, and more. The theatres hosted the much sought-after music package shows, featuring top American recording artists and groups. By contrast, Ruth’s from Tushingham in rural South Cheshire.

Both are former secondary school teachers, specializing in history – nostalgia and a feeling for the past feature strongly in their programs. Keith has also worked in Public Relations and Journalism. They have lived and worked in and around Leyland, Central Lancashire for 30 years or more. Both are active members of Go On Tour (Golden Oldies), an Over-55s entertainment group. Keith is the MC and part-time comedian, while Ruth sings and dances.

Their relaxed homely style creates a feeling that they are right with you in your living room, playing music and chatting to you. In so doing they even create the illusion they are making it up as they go along - deftly belying the time, research, and attention to detail they have invested to make the show come over as unscripted.

Join Keith and Ruth every week here on ASR (Allsounds Radio) every Sunday morning at 8am as they relive so many great "60s Music Memories"

Hi, I'm Kelly
Born on the South Coast in Hampshire, I was brought up by a mother who loves her music.
At 2 years old, I was already singing along, loving the beats and rhythms!

Over the years, my love of music has developed and evolved. While a rock chick at heart, I have very eclectic tastes as you'll see in my show.

My show is a celebration of the hundreds of incredible artists out there and their contributions to the music industry. Just the right mix of music to suit all tastes.

So tune in daily to the "Kelly Cooke Show" exclusively on ASR (Allsounds Radio)

See you there.

Hi, I'm Kenny
My Dad played with a big local showband in the late 50’s & 60’s, so from an early age, music was always around the house as I was growing up. I started doing discos in the local youth clubs in the mid 70’s and then into the night clubs around the country.

After being bitten with the radio bug, influenced by offshore radio stations in the 60’s, I joined hospital radio as many of us did when we started. Full time radio called in the 80’s, so away went my career as a B.T.engineer and a move to radio in Ireland took place.

After working in various stations in Ireland & Spain, I returned home to work on a Belfast station in 1993. After an 11 year stint, I then moved to work on the Causeway coast to host drive time and onto head of music, and more recently to present a Breakfast show, Monday to Friday and again take on the position as head of music for a new Belfast station in 2016.

Over the years, I’ve worked on BBC Three counties radio, Radio Six and various stations in Northern Ireland. Today, I've moved my shows to on-line radio. Specifically ASR (Allsounds Radio) where you can hear me present my "Coast to Coast " Live, every Saturday lunchtime, and "The Revival Show" on Monday evenings from 10pm.

My musical tastes, I suppose, range from Abba to ZZ Top and from Bach To Tchaikovsky.
Hope to see you on Saturday at noon for "Coast to Coast", and Mondays at 10pm for the "Revival Show".

Hi folks,
My name is Leo Kirby I come from just outside Limerick in Ireland where like England we love our rugby. One of my other passions is Radio and music. I have presented my own weekly shows on various radio stations which included Local, Student, Hospital and Internet Radio Stations .

Music likes: My taste in music is extremely versatile. From U2 to Calvin Harris and Coldplay, to classics such as The Police and David Bowie I am never one to be out of the loop given that my three sons are often in charge of the playlist on each car journey. Combine this exposure to current artists with my appreciation of lesser known hits by mainstream recording artists, extended plays and quality album tracks and you get a taste of what my shows often comprise of.

So do tune in on Thursday evenings at 10pm here on ASR (Allsounds Radio), if only for the Irish accent!!!! and see what you think. I would love to have your company no matter where you are in the World as we look back over '50 Years and Rolling'

Mike here,
It was back in 1998 that I retired from radio. Who knew that the move from Surrey and the M25 to Devon was going to reignite the spark. So a year or so ago I got back into it through an online hospital radio. From vinyl and decks to computers and USBs was quite a shock. I have been there and done it all through hospital radio with roles as station manager, program controller, and treasurer, as well as presenter.

Alongside this I was out there as a mobile and club DJ all over the London/Surrey/Kent area for some 3 decades, after a 13-week-long hot summer of wedding receptions, I retired from that side of the business.

I had also been part of many restricted service licenses when in 1993 the best opportunity opened up and suddenly I was broadcasting 3 hours a day, 5 days a week, on Eclipse FM, an ahead-of-its-time cable radio station. Unfortunately in 1996, the radio authority didn't see things our way, however, it was the best of times.

This was probably highlighted for me by having the late Dave Cash (Capitol Radio) as program controller, and working with and learning from him. I interviewed many of those that we love to listen to, and still tell the story of the day Hank Marvin made me a cup of coffee before we sat down to chat.

So why am I at ASR? I have a huge knowledge of music, specifically the 60s, and 70s, and a deep connection to that time which I love to share. I will play tracks you love to sing along to, and maybe give you a little bit about why I am playing it, and then slip in something by a famous name but the memory of it is just lurking there waiting to be recalled.

If you would love to hear a certain track or have something you would like mentioned in a future show then please email me, even if you just want to say hello.

See you on Monday at 8pm with "Mike's Music Box" here on ASR (Allsounds Radio).

Hi Nino here,
I started my career in the clubs as a Disc Jockey in 1973. I was 15 years old and illegally (under age) working every night in the discos around Bristol UK. My radio career got underway a few years later in 1978 at UBN, a radio station set up to entertain the workers in the biscuit factories up and down the country. It was there that I was taught how to string a sentence together and how to research, produce and edit. Many well-known DJs used UBN at the start of their careers as a stepping stone to bigger stations. I also attended the National Broadcasting School in Greek Street, London before landing my first breakfast/morning show at Radio West.

From hosting shows on 70s radio and 80s television, to where am I now and what am I up to? I now live ten minutes outside of San Francisco, spending most of my days sharing its beauty with visitors from around the world.
That means that I now can add VIP Tour Operator / Guide to the resume.

Media still plays an important part of my life and radio will always hold a big place in my heart.

I still produce and host shows from my home studios and I hope you will enjoy listening to my main endeavour, "The Nino Show", here on ASR ( Allsounds Radio)

Paul has been working in the entertainment industry since 1991 and is currently a successful DJ, Radio Presenter and Event Host.

Paul's radio work stretches all around the world and can be heard daily here on ASR (Allsounds Radio) with his flagship "Paul Baker Show". Paul is also currently working at the successful Popworld venues along the South Coast with weekly sold out residencies on Saturday Nights.

In addition to this Paul also hosts corporate events and quiz nights at various venues and has worked with large companies and brands such as Stonegate, Greene King, Gourmet Burger Kitchen, Tiger Tiger, Wadworth & The 02 Guildhall in Southampton.

Paul first got the radio bug when he was at school and used to record his own shows on a flat deck tape player (thankfully these tapes no longer exist). Many years later at college in 1991, he worked on a charity station called "Radio Cracker" and knew this is what he wanted to do, however with other things taking off he never really found the opportunity to pursue this until 2010 when a visit to the studios of "Skyline Radio" in Southampton reignited his enthusiasm for radio.

Back in 1973 I only had a few glam rock singles to my name. Then, our Auntie Sue moved into our Bracknell council house with a treasure trove of two hundred albums.

Thus began my musical education! I learned about Bob Dylan, Van Morrison, Leonard Cohen, and even Captain Beefheart. I had access to more music than any other kid of my age, it seemed.

Later, Bracknell Sports Centre became a venue for the Punk and New Wave scene. Two-Tone bands would swing by too; saving us the trouble of going to London to see the latest bands.

Years later, when I relocated to Massachusetts I started as a Guest DJ on WMBR Cambridge, the radio station of MIT.

Now I'm bringing my eclectic and widespread musical tastes to ASR (Allsounds Radio). I like to say that the 'Lost & Found' show plays music you don't often hear on the radio...deep cuts and hidden treasures!

Thanks again, Auntie Sue!

All the best

Richy came into radio presenting later than most, but, he knows what he likes and more importantly, loves the music he knows. Like most people growing up in the 60s/70s & 80s, I was surrounded by great music. From the Beatles, Rolling Stones, The Who in the 60s, Glam Rock, Disco, Motown in the 70s through to New Romantic, Electronic of the 80s. As a teenager, I listened mostly to Motown, Soul, Funk and Disco, but secretly always wanted to be in the band The Brothers Johnson."

Music has always been a huge passion of mine, and 70/80’s is the music I grew up with. There were some great bands around in those decades, some of which are still performing today. I don't believe there is good and bad music.. music is art, and like all art there is some we like and some we don't like. Just because we don't like it doesn't make it bad !

"Richy's Retro Roadshow" .. is a radio show dedicated to playing 70s and 80s chart, disco and soul records. Some we know as classics, and some we may have just forgotten about in the midst of time. One thing's for certain.. you'll hear them all on the Retro Roadshow.. the good, the bad and the downright ugly.

My name is Sandy, otherwise known as Sandy M "The Lipstick Avenger".

Being a child of the 70s, I began to take notice of chart music at around the age of 5 or 6 years old, which would have been the early 80s. Like many of my school friends, I would be glued to the radio as often as possible hoping to hear my favorite records. I used to visit the local record shop with my mum from a very early age, which is where my music collection began. Over the years, I have collected many different types of music. Now I have the opportunity to share some of that music with you, here on ASR (Allsounds Radio)

A fun-filled hour where I will play anything from the 60s to the 00s, all with that "feel-good factor". The show will also include daily features such as..
"RETRO REWIND" "TIME TUNNEL" & "SANDY M's 12'incher FINISH"

I hope you can join me on Tuesday Evening from 7pm.
See you on the airwaves for some great music from across the 'Pop Decades'.

Steve was trained up as a tech op by none other than Johnny Lewis at Kent's Invicta FM back in the late 80s. This led on to further behind the scenes and studio work at various BBC and commercial stations during the next decade and eventually on to presenting his own Sunday morning show.

His work and family life then took over for a few years but he's back, with a show on Allsounds Radio playing music from the 50s to the 80s.

He still drinks tea like it's going out of fashion and supports Queens Park Rangers!

70s music is his passion, particularly Queen, ELO and Dire Straits he still uses tape machines, CD players and turntables.

Listen to Steve here on ASR (Allsounds Radio) every Wednesday at 10pm where you too can become an honorary member of 'The Old Record Club'

I'm Titus Jennings.
A child of the 60s and of suburban London, though now a resident of South Wales. I have been involved in radio and the music industry, in one form or another, for most of my working life. I've been waffling away and playing my always-eclectic blend of music since the late 70s on stations such as London Hospitals Broadcasting, Kingston Hospital Radio, and University Radio Bath.

In the 90s and 00s, I presented the Breakfast Shows on Bath's Torch FM and Bristol's Caroline Rocks, and have been working as a presenter/producer & program controller on a number of internet-based stations since 2005. I also managed a couple of Bristol record stores in the late 80s, was a Pinnacle Records sales rep for a decade, and have also written CD, DVD, and book reviews for Record Collector and other publications.

My 'Retro Album Chart Show' features the charts from 2 years each week here on ASR (Allsounds Radio) and includes the cream of the crop from each or at least the cream of the relevant crop of my collection.

Todd Chambless is a 35+ year USA radio veteran. He has worked in big cities including Dallas, Pittsburgh and Columbus, OH.

He’s been a radio Program Director, Presenter and now hosts a number of his own shows. He even once dressed in a chicken suit for a radio station promotion (an event that still gives him nightmares to this day). He hails from West Monroe, Louisiana. Todd loves music, riding with the top down and the music cranked up, and singing in his church’s choir.

Todd recently expressed interest in bringing his shows to the UK so that listeners not only in the USA could enjoy them but also his many fans in the UK.

After much consideration Todd has chosen ASR (Allsounds Radio) as his preferred broadcaster to showcase his work and hopes everyone will enjoy listening to them no matter what part of the world you tune in from. His different shows air at various times throughout the week.

Hi,
I'm Tony Lloyd, a professional radio presenter who has had a varied career in radio, music and sound engineering, and film production since I was a teenager. I have had a passionate interest in broadcast radio since I was a young teenager.

A successful club and event DJ, I trained at industrial radio station UBN and entered broadcast radio in the late 70s as a radio presenter for several radio stations including Ward Radio in London where I was appointed Chairman in 1979. I was responsible managerially and editorially for all on-air programming together with overseeing sound engineering, fundraising & training. I proudly remain an Honorary Chairman today. I then went on to become a presenter at Chiltern Radio, serving Herts, Beds, Bucks, Northants, and others with my 'Tony Lloyd Late Show', featuring the popular 'Midnight Magic' romantic half hour. (Sorry about the photo!)

I was promoted to Drive Show presenter in 1990, at the same time presenting the 'Top 20 Countdown', and going on to work at the station for ten years. In addition, I also broadcast on Invicta SuperGold & Severn Sound & launched SuperGold, Horizon Radio in Milton Keynes, and The Hot FM.

I currently present my shows here on ASR (Allsounds Radio), so why not join me, early Sunday morning, with "Love from Tony"

Hi all, I'm Wayne
I've been a music fan for over 40 years. My love of all things noisy was sealed when I witnessed Ramones live in 1980. Along the way, I've been a songwriter, musician and a record company man in my time. Now I am a presenter and my mission is to shine a light on the bands and labels churning out fantastic music in the independent sector.

These days I can be found here on ASR (Allsounds Radio) hosting the much admired "Pulsebeat". As a presenter, I have my finger firmly on the pulse of great music from the Punk, Hardcore, Garage and Alternative scenes. My show includes classic numbers, deeper cuts, and all the best of new releases.

Join me every Sunday Morning at 3am. See you then..

Wayne Elliott..
